Disadvantages of Dental Implants
The most important disadvantage is complications that can occur as a result of wrong and inadequate applications. Such complications may also result in healthy bone-tissue loss around the implant.
Dental implants are more costly compared to dentures. However, the costs today are more affordable in comparison with the prices of a few years ago.
Particularly in more challenging cases, occurrence of pain, swelling and bruising is also a possibility. However, these are all temporary problems.
Inaccurate indications as well as implants performed by people who lack the required knowledge and experience to carry out such procedures may in time come to pose an aesthetic disadvantage.
